Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
The babies were in the crib while I was strapped with one of them to my back. Ha! The whole thing started to seem logical, however it was still far from being done. It was going to take an enormous amount of effort as well as my favourite brands of furniture furnishings for this house. In order to stay within my budget, I took my boys along with me as I searched for treasures in estate sales. Every week, we spent the week of Thursday through Saturday at estate sales and garage sales purchasing old and brand new furniture. In the end, I stenciled and polished in the driveway throughout the week. What I saw looked something like... that's the moment my love for restoring furniture started. The issue was not whether the home was equipped. Markets in town had room for me to market my items. I was able to outgrow the area because I had many more pieces than I was able to use. I hosted open houses at my house where 1 000 visitors would pass through on a single weekend. visitors could buy anything from the ground level. Growing Days was founded in my own home. The business wasn't just expanding, but so was our sweet family as well. In some ways, I had found the perfect way to balance being a mom and launching my venture. Growing Days seemed like the best combination. Nora came into our lives in 2013 as our 4th baby. I was thrilled with where my company was heading but I needed a break. I decided to quit doing work on my furniture for a few months and be at home with the kids. It was time. After a couple of months, the phone began to ring. They wanted my assistance in decorating and home renovations. Many of the people calling me came from people who came to my house at one of my furniture open house events. After a while I started taking on clients at my pace. Soon I had several accounts and a home renovations business. I'm sure you would have amused me if you had said that this was going to be the subject of a DIY Network tv series. Actually I still kind of laugh when I think about it.
