Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France was born the 9th of August in 1976. Audrey Tautou is an oldest child in a family of four. Audrey Tautou's parents, who are a dental doctor and a school teacher were supportive and encouraged by her initial passion for drama and theatre. The initial goal of her to be a monkey expert was replaced by a desire to study theater and drama. Her rise to fame as a young actress was quick and marked by her early successes. When she first began an acting career she was a participant in Jeunes Premiers an French television show that sought to find talent sponsored by Canal+ in 1998. The program also awarded her the title of The award for the Best Young Actress in during the Beziers Festival of Young Actors. Tautou is a pupil of in the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris when she was a kid and was a student there from young age but has sworn off her Catholic upbringing. She now claims to be a non-Catholic. Along with her acting career, she pursued a modelling career. It is her turn to be the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. In the past, during the Arles Arts Festival she exhibited the collection of her photographs with the heading Superficial. Her photography is focused on celebrities, fame and the media who scrutinized her following her emergence on the scene in the film Amelie. Additionally, there are a number of photographs featuring herself. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major role in Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amelie Poulain. Amelie received international recognition because of its box-office success. The film was also recognized in award ceremonies all over the world. It remains the highest grossing French language film to date in the US. The popularity of the film has led to Tautou being cast in a range of roles, from British dramas as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
